Plan your trip without
the group chat chaos 🌈
Find LGBTQ+-friendly destinations, save your plans, and share everything with your travel crew in one place.
OutAtlas is the LGBTQ+ travel app that shows you where you're actually welcome, helps you find queer-owned spots, and lets your whole crew plan in one place.
+ 79 more destinations and counting
Made for us.
By us.
Travel should feel like freedom, not a research project. OutAtlas exists because the LGBTQ+ community deserves a travel tool that actually gets us: where we feel safe, where we're celebrated, and how we actually plan trips (hint: it involves a group chat that goes nowhere for three weeks).
Whether you're heading to WorldPride Amsterdam, Fire Island for Bear Week, or just exploring a new city with your partner, OutAtlas is your guide.
See how it works
From "where should we go?"
to booked, in minutes.
OutAtlas was built for the way queer travelers actually plan trips — not how a generic travel app thinks we do.
Search any destination
Open OutAtlas and search by city, region, or country to explore 85+ curated LGBTQ+-friendly destinations. Each destination highlights the local queer scene, what it's known for, and what kind of traveler it fits best.

See how welcoming a destination really is
OutAtlas gives you real context — powered by Equaldex data. Each destination includes a plain-language read on what the queer experience is actually like. Think: "Safe but discreet," "Openly welcoming," or "Growing queer community."
Step 2 Screenshot
Discover the full queer scene
Every destination surfaces curated LGBTQ+-owned and verified venues across hotels, restaurants, bars, tours, and pride events. All filtered for the community. No more guessing which ones are actually queer-friendly.

Save spots and plan with your crew
Bookmark hotels you love. Save restaurants that look perfect. Build your trip itinerary piece by piece. When ready, invite your travel crew directly in the app. Everyone gets access to the same plan, can add suggestions, vote on spots, and drop comments.

Book through platforms you already trust
OutAtlas doesn't ask you to abandon the booking platforms you already use. When you're ready, we tap you straight through to Google Flights, Expedia, Booking.com, Misterb&b, or Viator. Curated LGBTQ+-friendly options, one tap to book.

about OutAtlas.
Got questions? We've got answers.
OutAtlas is a free LGBTQ+ travel app designed by and for the queer community. It helps gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and non-binary travelers find safe destinations, queer-friendly hotels, restaurants, bars, tours, pride events, and community resources — all with an Equality and Safety Index score for every destination. OutAtlas covers 85+ curated LGBTQ+-friendly destinations worldwide and is currently in open Android beta.
Yes, completely. OutAtlas is free to download and use with no credit card, no subscription, and no strings attached. During the current beta, we're accepting up to 50 testers who commit to about 10 minutes of use, 2 to 3 times a week over 1 to 2 weeks.
OutAtlas uses Equaldex to power its Equality and Safety Index scores. Equaldex is a community-verified, collaborative knowledge base that crowdsources LGBTQ+ rights laws and public opinion data from every country and region in the world. Founded in 2014 and maintained by thousands of volunteer editors, Equaldex automatically scores and ranks each destination's Equality Index based on legal protections, social acceptance, and real-world safety data — so you know exactly how welcoming a place is before you book, and whether you can hold your partner's hand without a second thought.
OutAtlas covers 85+ curated LGBTQ+-friendly destinations including Amsterdam, Bangkok, Fire Island, Miami, Vancouver, Lisbon, Provincetown, Antwerp, and dozens more — with 1,200+ LGBTQ+-owned or verified hotels, 400+ LGBTQ+ tours, and 500+ events listed across them all. The list is growing every week.
It takes about 60 seconds: fill out the sign-up form with your email, download OutAtlas from Google Play, and use the app for 10 minutes a few times a week. That's the whole commitment. We're only accepting 50 beta testers in this round, so spots are limited.
OutAtlas connects you directly to Google Flights, Expedia, Booking.com, Misterb&b (the leading LGBTQ+ travel booking platform), and Viator. We don't replace these platforms — we curate the best LGBTQ+-friendly options and send you straight there, faster.
Not yet. OutAtlas is currently Android only. iOS support is on the roadmap — join the beta now to help shape the app and be first in line when the iPhone version launches.
